In collaboration with the German-based NGO Tactical Tech and Southern New Hampshire University, Executive Director Marlyn Tadros has organized a Glass Room event at Southern New Hampshire University to draw attention to misinformation in the digital age as well as what our lives online look like. The Glass Room, created by the German-based NGO Tactical Tech, in multiple languages, with the aim of exploring different types of misinformation, and teaches one how to recognise it, and how to combat its spread. It also investigates how our data does not belong to us any more in this digital age, and what to do about it to regain that control.
Since Virtual Activism works in ICT and the digital world, and aims to spread digital media literacy, this was an opportunity to showcase the exhibit at SNHU. In November 2021, the event was organized in collaboration with Prof. Harry Umen.
