UN Headquarters Informal Dialogues on the Pact for the Future
The President of the General Assembly is organizing informal dialogues to help Member States with the implementation of the Pact for the Future. These dialogues aim to allow Members to exchange views and share best practices leading up to a review of the Pact in 2028.
- Dialogue 1: Means of Implementation (26 March 2025)
Focuses on how Member States can create a supportive environment for implementing the Pact’s commitments, addressing challenges, financing, technology, partnerships, and capacity-building. - Dialogue 2: Monitoring and Evaluation (19 May 2025)
Emphasizes the importance of national-level monitoring and evaluation for tracking progress in implementing the Pact. It will explore potential monitoring mechanisms. - Dialogue 3: Looking Ahead to 2028 (28 July 2025)
Prepares for the 2028 review of the Pact, discussing its structure, reporting strategies, and alignment with other frameworks.
All dialogues are open to NGOs with ECOSOC consultative status for 2025, with in-person participation required and no registration necessary.
